Who is BTAC?
We’re a modern groundworks and agricultural services business founded on old-fashioned principles. As a family-run business, we value those old-school traditions that farming is founded on. When we do a job, we do it to the highest possible standards without disrupting the profitability of your land. We work in a sustainable and environmentally-conscious manner – but we have the machinery to get the job done and are always investing in more.

Our work with Ketchup
Our founder, Brian, launched BTAC in 2015 after 25 years’ experience in agriculture. As a new venture, there was a lot to be done from scratch, including creating a brand, building a website, and promoting our services.
That’s when we turned to Ketchup – a local marketing agency based in Buckminster, Grantham – to help us with marketing strategy and web design.
A new logo
We were new kids on the block and needed to get ourselves recognised. So, to start, we worked with Ketchup to build our logo. Ketchup’s team of in-house graphic designers were able to listen to what we had in mind and interpret the brief to create what is our logo today. We love the design; it has helped BTAC to make its mark over the last five years of business.
Our first website
Of course, a new website was high on our list of priorities. We wanted to be found and have a platform to describe our wealth of experience, advertise our services, and showcase our ethos as a family-run business with a heritage in agriculture.
Ketchup built our website from the ground up. That included plotting the site structure, completing all aspects of graphic design, and writing the copy. This gave us time to focus on getting our name out there and getting ourselves noticed.
What was important to us was that our principles were at the forefront of our brand message. We consider ourselves part of the community we serve; We are farmers and agriculturists. We understand your needs and want to provide a service that is affordable and undisruptive.
We were pleased with the way Ketchup’s team of copywriters interpreted what we told them about our ethos and worded our site in a way that allowed new visitors to get a feel for who we are and how we’re different to the other groundworks services out there.
A continued campaign
Our work with Ketchup went beyond the initial set-up, however. They were integral in helping us to grow in the early stages of our business.
Ketchup created email marketing campaigns that helped us spread the word about who we are and the services we offer.
What’s more, they created print materials for us that allowed us to inform the public about our business offline. Using Ketchup meant our print promotions were professional and high-quality and were aligned with the branding on our website. This continuity helped us to promote our brand loudly and proudly.
